removing a ford car stereo

Ford Serial Number Location

You will need to Remove your stereo from the car and the serial number will be on a label somewhere on the radio. Removing the radio will require radio keys, If you wish to purchase radio keys please click here. If your Ford radio does not look similar to the one in the picture then please check out this page


Step 1
Insert release keys into either side of the of the radio as in the pic. You can improvise with household items if radio keys are not available. Dont blame us if you break something! Radio keys make it so simple.


Step 2
Apply pressure outwards on the keys
whilst pulling them towards you



Step 3
Slide radio out and locate serial number. You dont need to take it fully out, just enough to see the label, which will be on the side or top of the unit. In the pic it would be M083445

Take a note of the serial number. Please take care to correctly locate and record your serial number. Now your ready to place your order.
