My radio code About Us
FAQ:

Q: Why has my radio lost the code?
A: The main reason is a flat or disconnected battery. To put it simply, when the power is disconnected to it, your radio thinks it has been stolen and wont work again until its factory set security code is entered.

Q: When i left my Car into the mechanic's my radio was working, i get the car back and its not. Is it my mechanic's fault?
A: Defiantly not! The amount of electronics in cars today mean that to work at a car safely, the battery needs to be disconnected virtually every time the bonnet is opened. Once we supply you with your code, write it down and put it somewhere safe for future reference.

Q: Is there a master reset code to unlock my radio?
A: No - for security reasons there are no "master key" codes.

Q: Do you really need the serial number of my radio just to get me the code?
A: There is no other way to decode your radio online. Each radio has been programmed with it's own unique code, which can only be recovered bu using it's serial number

Q: The car dealer has given me a code and it doesn't work?
A: The main dealers use the cars VIN number to recover the code or on some occasions the cars registration number . It's possible the radio in the car is no longer the one originally fitted by the manufacturer.

Q: I have wrongly tried to enter what i thought was the correct code, but now my radio has locked code entry out. What can i do?
A: Contact us for advice before ordering a code. Some Units allow extra entry attempts, we can tell you a few things to try.

Q: I ordered a code from your website before. I have lost my radio code again and wondered if you still have it on recorded?
A: Its possible but cannot be guaranteed. Contact us with the same email address that was used with your previous order and we will try to help
